Sunday's performance of Deathtrap put on by UCM Theater Department
•started late do to people needing to exchange tickets from the Thursday and Friday showings being canceled.
•the set even though it was built by the students looks like it was done professionally
•the acting starts off a bit weak, but gets better as the play progresses.
• the twist of the student dieing then coming back to kill Sid and Mara was something I did not see coming
•another thing I kinda saw about Sid but didn't really see coming was he being gay And the student being his lover
•the second act was much like the first 1st scene is just talk 2nd scene the two main characters die and the last scene is of pych killing the lawyer
HEY!!! Spoiler alert!! :D Seriously, though, I never got a chance to watch it, so I'm glad you did and were able to give some feedback. I'm really impressed by our theatre students--not just the acting, but as you said, the set design, costuming, lighting, everything. They do a really good job!
