Gone with the Wind

I just finish watching this movie that I apparently seen in theater when I was about 8 or younger. Lets say I must of slept thorough it then cause all I remember is the ending shot of Tera.

I as well see how this movie is one of the greats. The structure of it was set up like a play with interlude music so people can take their seats, intermission so people can get a drink and whatnot, and then the exit music for when people left. The credits was at the beginning after the interlude music, which fits with the structure because for plays you look at who is who before the show starts.

This movie is great also for showing how powerful a woman can be when she thinks everything in her life is going wrong and just want to make it right.

All I can say is that if you ever want to show someone how a woman handles life when it is at its worst and to learn that home is where that strength comes from this is the movie to show them even if its is a four hour movie.

The Bible: The Epic Miniseries

This miniseries, which aired on tv before Easter and finished Easter night is a good revamp of the old movies but the creators skipped over a lot of the finer details about each story and why things played out they way it did for each main character of the Bible. Lets say I might not have read the bible from cover to cover but I do know some of the finer and important details about the main characters that should never be skipped when telling these stories.
All I have to say is watch the old films and then watch this or better yet just read half of the old testament and most of the new and you will always know what people leave out and what they keep in when telling these stories.

Arsenic and Old Lace Scene from Acting Class

Okay so this scene is funny and everything I like about movies and plays. The only thing I don't like is that the aunts are in their 60s when all my aunts and uncles are in their 40s. The only aunts I have that are in their 60s are my grandma's sisters or sister-in-laws. To me the aunts could be in their 20s or 30s and still be crazy enough to poison men and have one of there nephews buried then in the cellar.
Am I right or is my family just crazy?

les miserables the movie

This movie is known for being one of the great plays. Now to see well know actors that most people thought could not sing is mind blowing. At the same time though the story itself drags to the point of being bored with it. But then again I can see how it won so many awards from the the academy, all the aesthetics make each shot a powerful statement for that moment in time. That alone is something only a few movies have achevie.

SyFy's Lost Girl Season 1 Ep 1

Lost Girl's opening scene was kind of weird when it came to leading to the disturbance/conflict of the story, but once we get past that scene it turns out to be a good show. Yes, a good show not great, because, the first episode is nothing but exposition to the rest of the season.

Done watching Supernatural DVDs now

Okay I've finished watching Supernatural. Season 7 was just weird and one that could of been better I think but in the end it works for the story that the shows writers were trying to wrap up and still leave Sam with the problem of Leviathan only without a leader and Dean and Castiel in Purgatory

Supernatural Season 6

First this is my favorite season just because my top 6 episodes come from this season.

Theses are in order by ep #

Ep 4 Weekend at Bobby's
Ep6 You Can't Handle the Truth
Ep 9 Clap Your Hands if You Believe
Ep 15 The French Mistake
Ep 17 My Heart Will Go On
Ep 18 Frontierland

Second Season 5 was really about coming up with a plan to stop the Apocalypse. Meaning for them not letting Michael or Lucifer take control of their bodies and hiding from all the other angels while going up against the 4 horsemen( War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death).
In the end, the brothers get the rings of the horsemen that turn out to be the things they need to open Lucifer's Cage, but this means Sam has to say yes in letting Lucifer's enter his body and have a battle for control for Sam's Body just so Sam can jump into the pit.

In season 6 we see Dean living a normal life with a girl from his past,Lisa, and her son, Ben. Then Sam shows up to cure him of Djinn venom and Dean leaves to go back Hunting with Sam after Lisa persuades him to go. It takes about a month to figure out Dam came back with no Soul, but I the meantime they've had to with Castiel being to busy to help them because Heaven is in Civil War and Heavens weapons are on Earth. While Bobby deals with getting his soul back from Crowley the now King of hell. All of this while the brothers hunt anything that is killing humans, one just happens to be a truth God, she makes every one in her presence , that has a soul, speak the truth. This is how Dean finds outs that Sam came back different.

And that just the first quarter of Season 6
Next you got Fairies, dragons, Dean being Death for a day, Mannequins killing people, Sam and Dean going to an alt world( our world, were they are Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles playing Sam and Dean), and the Mother of All ( evil).

Season 6 is the best Season when it comes to reinventing this show.

Supernatural Skip

Sorry for skipping over seasons 3 and 4 but there are only like a few things that are need to know.
At the end of season 3 Dean fords and goes to Hell. Sam learns that he is immune to the " demon light" that can kill every one.
In season 4 Dean is drag out of Hell by an angel of The Lord named Castiel, but after Dean starts torturing other souls which breaks the first of 66 seals that will break Lucifer free of his cage.
Through the season the brothers are trying to stop Lilith, the first demon. From breaking seals and dealing with Sam's demon powers.
In the end of season 4, Dean is be held by Zachariah in the so called "green room" which is really a room that looks like the pope's office. Dean is told by Castiel that Lilith is the final seals, meaning they can not kill her, but Zachariah wants Lucifer to come. Elsewhere Sam is getting ready to kill Lilith not knowing that she is the final seals. Ruby, his demon girlfriend , knows this but does not tell him because she wants Lucifer to come as well. All in all Sam kills Lilith and lets Lucifer loose on Earth. While the cage is opening "God" transports Sam and Dean out of harms way.
This is where season 5 starts. This is not my favorite season but I still love it, so lets take on the Apocalypse.

Louder than Words

This dance show is a mix of stories through out American History some close to the heart others are just unique in bringing something like a Dr Sues book to life

Act one
Cool - needs work
Diverging Paths-was ok
As I Am-good inspiration for women
Nocturne-nice and light but still mysterious

Shattered Steel-Senior Honors Project-the only section that was the best part
Ground Zero-made me cry
One Moment More- very nice and loving
Incendiary-go USA
The Chronic War-the troubled self

Act Two
Amuse 'em -very kidish
Nuclei-different
Prey-i wrote down good but i can't remember what I was about
Hand In Hand-good old "I have a dream"
As Time Goes By-hello sailor
Finale-yeah nothing special

In my opinion if these dance and theatre shows want to be taken seriously they need to make sure they are great all the way through, and not just at the end or middle.
It's a cliche but its true if you can't do something right then don't do it at all. Meaning to be taken serious in your field of work you need to do the best you can do 100% of the time not just the parts you like the most.

Supernatural Season 3 Opener

Things to know from Season 1 and 2

Sam and Dean are brothers. On the night of Sam’s six-month birthday, the Yellow-Eyed demon killed their mother. Dean was hunting with their father, John, for two years while Sam was going to school. Dean takes Sam on a “hunting” trip to find their father only to be left with their father’s journal and many unanswered questions. Dean takes Sam back to school, only to find Sam’s girlfriend being killed the same ways as their mother. This event gives Sam the reason to drop out of school and help Dean find their father and kill the Yellow-Eyed Demon.
Mid season of Season 1, Sam meets Meg while traveling on his own to go find their father, while Dean is deals with a town of people making human sacrifices to a scarecrow.
Later on, the brothers fall into Megs trap and almost get their father killed. That when they decide that its best for their father goes looking for Yellow-Eyes alone, while the brothers do hunting jobs.
End of season 1 the colt, made by Samuel Colt, comes into play by one of John’s hunting friends being killed by vampires. The brothers get the colt with John. John takes off to trick Meg and her brother while the boys go after the Yellow-Eyed Demon.
Bobby comes into the picture by helping the boys try to keep the Colt out of the hands of demons (Meg and her bother) while trying to save their father.
At the start of Season 2, John gives the Colt and himself to Yellow-eyes in exchange for Dean’s life.
Later, Sam starts having visions of kids with psychic powers, which have also lost their mother the same way and same age as Sam, killing people. Later, Sam realizes anything that has to deal with Yellow-Eyes will trigger a vision, even if it is happening in a location the brothers cannot get to in time.
The brothers meet Ellen and Jo, who run a bar, and starts taking jobs from them.
At the End of Season 2, Sam dies, only to be brought back to life by Dean making a crossroads Deal with a Demon, only instead of 10 years Dean gets one year to live.
Sam and Dean team up with Ellen and Bobby to stop Yellows-Eyes. The boys kill the Yellow-Eyed Demon, while Bobby and Ellen close a gate to Hell open that let out about 100-200 demons.

Season 3 Opener

The opener of Season 3 shall we say just starts with a bang. Now, first question, who or what is out first when a gate to Hell is open? It is the Seven Deadly Sins, only in demonic form, that start killing people in celebration of escaping Hell.
This episode is on the top 20 maybe the top 15, but not the 10 ten, just because this series is into its 8thseason and has been renew for a 9th. To be honest it is just for the story line of this episode and the fact it introduces a girl, the viewer finds out in the next episode her name is Ruby, and the type of demons they will face.
Yes, the Demons that came out of the gate of Hell are kind of like Yellow-Eyes only they do not have a plane except for not wanting to go back to Hell. Which means they can make people do things they do not want to do by only telling them to do it, unlike Meg who had to posses people to get them to do things she wanted.

Synopsis

This Episode starts off in Oak Park, Illinois, with a guy taking the garbage. Once he puts the trash into his garbage can the cans start to rattle and the light up and down the street start to flicker. The dark cloud of demonic energy rolls on into view. A zoom up on the cloud shows disconnected strand of demonic energy. One of these separates from the pack and knocks the guy down on his back and overtakes him.
A Week later, Sam is studying up on crossroads deals to undo Dean’s. Bobby calls to tell them that they might have a demon case in Nebraska. Dean’s line informs the viewers that after the Devil’s Gate opened, strange storm clouds appeared over seventeen cites, but have not had any demonic activity since then.
They meet up with Booby at an old Victorian farmhouse; inside they find a family who starved to death in front of a television, even though the kitchen was full of food three yards away from them.
While searching the house for clues Dean hears the deck creak and motions for bobby and Sam to go out back and circle around. Dean walks out front, looks around only to be jump by a man. The man is Isaac, and (along with his wife Tamara) is a hunter.
Sam, Dan and Bobby go back to Isaac and Tamara’s house, where they tell them that they don’t want to work with the people that let the demons out in the first place.
Cutting to outside we see a blonde watching the house under a tree.
Bobby and the boys investigate a death of a woman outside a shoe store. The viewing of the security video shows the guy from the teaser, who they find out is Walter Rosen from Oak Park, Illinois, interacting with the woman responsible for the murder just minutes before the crime happened.
While at the crime scene, the woman who earlier had watched the house, follows Sam. Even though Sam senses that somebody is following him, she disappears into thin air before Sam can see her.
They track Walter down to a local bar. Bobby tells them that they should use caution since they do not know whom they are up against yet and it hard telling what type of force came out of hell.  Isaac and Tamara interrupted this idea was by showing up after Walter enters the bar.
Inside, Isaac takes out a catenae of holly water and starts to follow Walter into the bathroom only to be stop by the owner who turns out to be a demon. Then one by one, the rest of the patrons show that they are demons. One of them restrains Tamara as another tells Isaac to drink a jug of drain cleaner. Isaac does but only by some force overtaking his will power.
Isaac collapses to the ground with blood coming out of his mouth. A car bursts through the door, Sam, Dean and Bobby get out of it and throws holy water of the Demon, rescues Tamara, and puts Walter into the trunk where a Devil's trap is drawn on the inside of the trunk door.
Back at Tamara’s house, Bobby tells them that they are dealing with the Seven Deadly Sins from medieval times. And he did not put it together until Isaac touch by gluttony, that the family by killed by sloth and the shoes lady was Envy’s doing. They interrogate Envy who is possessing Walter. He tells them that humans do everything they represent, and warns that the other demons will come for him. He taunts Dean about his lust and gluttony, and Tamara about her rage. Dean tell Envy that’s they will be too late since he will be in Hell. Tamara then exorcises Envy, and Walter dies in the process.
Dean offers to battle the demons while the others escape - a suicide mission - but Sam and Bobby agree they need to face the demons together. One of the demons possesses Isaac’s corpse, and calls in agony to Tamara to help him, but she is aware of the ruse and stabs him with a stake of holy wood. However, she has broken the salt line at the door, allowing the other demons to rush in.
Bobby traps Sloth under a Devil's trap while Lust tracks down Dean and tries to seduce him, until he manages to push her into a tub of Holy Water. Sam is confronted by the others, led by Pride. He knows who Sam is, and his connection to the Yellow-Eyed Demon, calling Sam a prodigy, and the boy king. As Sam is attacked, the mysterious woman, who had followed him earlier appears, and attacks the demons with a knife, which kills two of them, while Sam helps her kill the third. The woman disappears after revealing she knows who Sam is.
Bobby spends the night exorcising the demons – only two of the humans survive and in the morning Tamara leaves. Bobby confirms that he has not heard of a blade that could kill demons, and then heads off, telling them to look out for omens, as he will. Sam suggests they travel to Louisiana to visit a voodoo priestess to see if she can help with Dean’s deal.
Dean confesses to Sam that part of the deal was that if he tried to get out of it Sam would die. Sam charges that Dean is selfish and is putting him through the same thing Dean felt after John gave his life for Dean. Dean says that he actually feels great for the first time in a long while, and ends with “So what do you say we kill some evil sons of bitches and we raise a little hell” for his last year on earth.

Supernatural Season 2 Finale, Part 2

As i said in part one post i do encourage people to watch this part of the finale for the special effects and how well the cemetery scene was shot and brought together.
This episode i would say is probably one of the best if i had a top ten it would be close to the top the 5 there are a few that i like even more but those have not happen yet. This episode give you everything you are looking for when the big final battle is about to happen. Everyone that is alive comes together to stop and kill the thing that the boy's father has been hunting all their lives, Yellow-Eye Demon.

Episode Synopsis

"All Hell Breaks Loose Parts 2"

Part 2 starts the next day after Sam is stab.

The viewer sees Sam laying dead on a mattress as Dean watches over him. Bobby comes in with a bucket of fried chicken but Dean refuses it. Bobby ask Dean if he thinks it time to bury Sam. Dean says no. Then, Bobby trying to convince Dean to leave says he needs his help since it like the end of the world out there. Dean tells Bobby that he is done with job because he has give up too much already. He tells Bobby to get out. Bobby leaves saying "You know where i'll be"
The next scene, the viewer sees Jake hiding out in the woods about to fall asleep. The Yellow-Eyed Demon tells him in his sleep that he has "won," and that he has a job for him. Jake agrees but only after the Demon threatens his family
Back at the ghost town,Dean rambles on about how his job was to protect Sam and that he messed it up.
Next the viewer sees Dean drive to a crossroads and summons a crossroads Demon. He asks for Sam back and ten years in return for his soul. The demon does no agree even when he goes down to five years, but when Dean ask her what she wants him to do she brings back Sam and gives Dean one year and tells him that if he can tries to wiggle his way out of the deal Sam dies.
Sam wakes up with pain in his back and Dean returns to find out that Sam's last memory is of white hot pain and Dean and Bobby running toward him. Dean tells Sam that Jake stab him in the back but doesn't mention that he died. Sam tells Dean what happened before he and Bobby showed up but doesn't mention that Yellow-Eyed Demon told him that he wanted Sam to win. Dean tells Sam that the Roadhouse was destroyed as a result of what Ash found. Sam insists they go meet with Bobby, who is finishing Ash's work, but Dean is reluctant because he wants Sam to take it easy for while.
Sam and Dean arrive at Bobby's. who is shock that Sam is alive. Bobby tells the boys that he has found an area in Wyoming where it seem the demons are surrounding.
Bobby and Dean leave Sam to looking over Bobby's work. Bobby ask Dean what did he do, once they are outside, and finds out that Dean made a one-year deal. Bobby does not like it and starts to confront him about it only to be interrupted by Ellen, who is alive and well.
In the next scene, Bobby tests her with holy water and she passes. Ellen explains that it was luck that they ran out of pretzels and went to get some. Then she got a call from Ash saying he put something in the safe. She returned to find the Roadhouse in ashes. She tells them that they kept a hidden safe in the basement and Ash put a map into it. She reveals the map, its a map of Wyoming with five x's in southern Wyoming. Bobby figures out that the marks show where five abandoned frontier churches built by Samuel Colt, who made The Colt, are and that there are private railway lines connecting the five churches, making a hundred square mile devil's trap.

They figure the demons are trying to penetrate the barrier to get what Colt tried to protect. Bobby tells them that no full-blooded demon could get through, but Sam knows Jake and himself could.
Next, Jake pulls up at the rail lines to be told by the Yellow-Eyed Demon that there is a crypt fifty miles from where they are. Jake ask why he can't do it and with a hand gesture to the rails says "I can't yet" The Demon gives Jake the Colt after telling him it can be used to kill him. Jake aims the gun at the Demon, who taunts him at first, but then promises Jake that he and his family will be set for life if he does what the Demon ask. The Demon tells Jake that once the crypt is open, Jake can lead the army of demons with his family protected and be treated as royalty. Jake drops the guns after considering it.
The viewer sees Jake entering the cemetery at the center, where Dean, Sam, Bobby, and Ellen are waiting for him. Jake tell Sam that he stab it in the spine, therefore Sam should be dead and Sam realizes what Dean did. Jake just chuckles then tells Ellen to put the gun to her head. She does so under Jake's newly developed mind control. The guys drop their guns long enough for Jake to get to the vault and open it using the Colt as a key, before Sam shoots him. Sam then moves in and shoots him Jake a few more times.
Everyone looks on as the vault opens on its own. Bobby tells them its Hell Dean grabs the gun and they all duck for cover as massive demonic energies shoot forth out of the vault.
Ellen reveals that the gate is a portal to Hell as demonic forces fight their way out. Dean realizes the Colt is loaded but the Yellow-Eyed Demon takes it from him and sends him flying while the others try to close the gate. Sam comes after him but the Yellow-Eyed Demon holds him back and holds Dean down. He then suggests that what came back could not be 100% Sam. The Demon thanks Dean and then prepares to kill him, but John appears, like a ghost, out of the gate and grabs the Demon. Which gives Dean's enough time to grab the Colt and shoot the Yellow-Eyed Demon, destroying the Demon once and for all. Bobby and Ellen close the gate and John smiles his approval at his sons before going in a bright light.
Sam says that there whole life has be preparing them for that moment. Dean tells the Demon's corpse that they killed him for their mother's sake.
The last scene takes place next to the Impala. Sam ask about what Jake said and wants to know what Dean did. Dean puts him off but finally admitting he has one year. Sam insists he'd do the same for Dean and he'll get him out of it. Ellen and Bobby comes up behind them ans ask how many Demons you think got out. Sam figures 100-200 demons got out through the gate and Bobby warns the war has just begun. Dean put the Colt in the trunk and announces, "We got work to do."

Supernatural Season 2 Finale Part 1

"All Hell Breaks Loose Parts 1 and 2" is Supernatural's Season 2 Finale and the writers did a wonderful job with the title, because Hell literly breaks loose in Part 2. In adittion, the viewer finds out what Yellow-Eyes want with the psychic kids like Sam.

Lets just say the writers wrap Season's 1 and 2 with a two hour episode very nicely. Now we know why Season's 1 finale was kind of a dud in terms of wraping things up.

I encourage people to watch at least Part 2, for the cemetery scene, because when they film this episode the main actors, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, where filming other things at the time. Meaning for this scene the filmmakers had to film Jensen(Dean) with Jeffrey Dean Morgan (John) at one time and then green screen Jared (Sam) into the scene. In the episode it lookes like they are both there together, even though they never touch, The only thing that is akward is when Jared's character want to hug or touch his father, other than that moment you would never know that the two actors where filmed at different times

Episode Synopsis
